Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Irrespective of, religion, socioeconomic status and food habits.
  • •2\. Patient evaluated with Grade 2 of Malnutrition (I.A.P Grading of Malnutrition)

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Children who supposed to have\-
  • •1\. Systemic diseases (Tuberculosis, Diabetes, any other infectious illness requiring active management).
  • •2\. Gross congenital problems.
  • •3\. Malignancies.
  • •4\. Mal\-absorption syndrome or inborn errors of metabolism.
  • •5\. Children evaluated with other grades of PEM, i.e. normal, grade1, grade3 and grade4 of IAP classification.
