This is a randomised, single blinded, active control, parallel group trial that studies the effects of Pilates exercise on body composition and quality of life in women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). The intervention group received Pilates exercise intervention for 60 minutes per session, 3 times per week for 8 weeks along with a lifestyle modification pamphlet. The control group performed aerobic exercises for 60 minutes per session, 3 times per week for 8 weeks based on the recommendations received in the lifestyle modification pamphlet. The outcome measures i.e., Bioelectrical impedance analysis, waist circumference and quality of life were assessed before and after 8 weeks of intervention.
