The present study will be conducted in the Neuro-physiology lab of department of Physiology, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. The study is designed to assess the Neuro-cognitive functions and blood biomarker (Tau Protien) in adults with internet addiction and to compare the parameters with those of subjects without internet addiction.

入选标准

  • Subjects with internet addiction (Internet addiction would be determined by a score of more than 30 based on Young’s internet addiction test).

排除标准

  • Subjects having a history of neurological or musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Subjects having a history of any auditory or visual problems.
  • Subjects having any acute physical or mental illness.
  • Subjects who are taking any medication that is likely to affect cognition (e.g., sedatives, antihistamines, antipsychotics, certain antidepressants).
  • Subjects who have history of substance abuse disorder.
