Inclusion Criteria

(1) Western diagnostic criteria: according to Roman IV criteria, the typical clinical manifestations of irritable bowel syndrome are recurrent abdominal pain, which occurs at least one day a week in the last 3 months, accompanied by 2 or more than 2 of the following: ? Related to defecation; The attack accompanied by changes in defecation frequency; ? Changes in fecal properties (appearance) are associated with the onset. Symptoms had been present for at least 6 months before diagnosis and persisted for nearly 3 months. Diarrheal irritable bowel syndrome: at least 25% of stools are Bristol type 6-7, and Bristol type 1-2 stools are less than 25%.
(2) TCM diagnostic criteria: diarrhea: abdominal pain, clear and thin stool as the main basis. Or the number of stool increases, fecal clear dilute, even like water; Or pour down the valley does not melt. Often have abdominal distension abdominal pain first, immediately diarrhea. The onset of diarrhea is urgent, diarrhea is urgent and much, mostly caused by external cold and heat, heat and humidity or improper diet; Long diarrhea slow onset, diarrhea potential slow and less, there is a history of repeated attacks, more by external evil, diet, emotion, fatigue and other factors induced or aggravated.
2. Meet one of the following two certificates
? Syndrome of Liver depression and spleen deficiency: abdominal pain is diarrhea, and the pain decreases after diarrhea; Irritable, seizures are often related to mood, fatigued and weak, full of flanks, dull and distemper, pale and fat tongue, teeth may be marked, thin and white moss, thin pulse string.
? Syndrome of dampness due to spleen deficiency: loose stool, faint abdominal pain, attack or aggravation after fatigue or catching a cold, fatigue, listless limbs, weak tongue, teeth marks on the edge, white and greasy moss; Pulse is weak.
3. Age 18-80, male or female.
4. Good compliance and willing to cooperate.

Exclusion Criteria

1. It does not conform to the western diagnosis of diarrhea-type irritable bowel syndrome.
2. It does not meet the standard of TCM syndrome type.
3. Pregnant or lactating women with mental disorders.
4. Partially concealing medical history and not cooperating with relevant information collection.
5. Western medicine or Traditional Chinese medicine that affects the judgment of efficacy is being taken orally.
6. Patients with serious primary heart, liver, lung, kidney or blood diseases or serious diseases affecting their survival, such as malignant tumors.
7. Inability to give fully informed consent due to intellectual or behavioural impairment.
8. Patients whose work environment changes greatly or compliance is poor, resulting in loss of follow-up or failure to follow instructions.
9. Allergic constitution or drug allergy to test group and control group.
