Inclusion Criteria

Group 1:

1. All functional pheochromocytoma and Paraganglioma patients scheduled for tumour removal.

2. Patients consenting for study.

3. Age group between 18 to 70 years.

Group 2:

1. Controlled essential hypertension patients scheduled for any elective surgery.

2. Patients consenting for study.

3. Age group between 18 to 70 years.

Exclusion Criteria

Group1:

1. Normotensive pheochromocytoma patients.

2.Normotensive or hypertensive patients in whom functional status of adrenal tumour is ambiguous.

3.Patients with obesity.

4.Tricuspid regurgitation.

5.Cardiomyopathy with EF less than 40%.

6.Right sided heart disease.

7.Portal hypertension.

8. Obstructive lung disease.

Group 2:

1.Patient with obesity.

2.Tricuspid regurgitation.

3.Cardiomyopathy with EF less than 40%.

4.Right sided heart disease.

5.Portal hypertension.

6.Obstructive lung disease.

7.Patients with restricted fluid intake due to any reason( CKD,SIADH).
