Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Postoperative elderly patients over 60 years admitted to ICU
- •Both male and female gender Post operative after any major non\-cardiac surgery
Exclusion Criteria
- •Mechanically ventilated patients
- •Hemodynamically unstable patients
- •Patients requiring deep sedation
- •Patients with Hyponatremia Serum Sodium less than 130 meq per litre)
- •Metabolic encephalopathy \- Hepatic encephalopathy.
- •Patients with pre\-existing diagnosed dementia
- •Patients on regular psychiatric medications
- •Traumatic brain injury
- •History of acute alcohol intake / intoxication
- •History of poor irreversible neurological status at the time of admission
