简要总结
This is a randomized controlled clinical study evaluating the clinical and radiographic outcomes of immediate loading versus delayed loading of wide-bodied implants placed in single missing mandibular molar healed sites. Twenty four patients will receive implant placement in the mandibular missing molar tooth region among which the twelve patients in the test group will be rehabilitated with immediate functional loading of the implants and twelve group in the control group will be rehabilitated with a final prosthesis after 3 months of healing period. Post operative parameters will be to assess and compare the crestal bone level at baseline, 3 months and 6 months and to compare the implant success rates between the two groups at the end of 6 months in terms of clinical mobility of the implant and complete extrusion of the implant.

入选标准
- •1.Age group:
- •65years. 2.Healed Single Edentulous first molar site in the mandible with sufficient bone so as to obtain sufficient implant primary stability. 3.Patients with D2 bone quality in the posterior mandible as assessed by CBCT. 4.Opposing occlusion with the natural dentition or fixed restorations. 5.No need for bone augmentation. 6.Medically fit patients for surgery under local anaesthesia. 7.Patients who will strictly follow and maintain proper oral hygiene to prevent peri-implantitis.

- •1.Medically compromised patients.
- •2.Chronic smokers.
- •3.Patients with Para-functional habits.
- •4.Poor bone quality or volume.
- •5.Non-compliant patients.
- •6.Patients with uncontrolled diabetes with HbA1c greater than 7.
