Stages 4 and 5 non-dialysis chronic kidney disease patients; between 18 and 60 years old; from both sexes; using no medication that alters the autonomic nervous system
Patients in the following conditions will be excluded from this study those who participated in an intervention program less than three months ago; or presenting unstable arterial hypertension with diagnosed by a physician; amyloidosis; congestive heart failure; acute infarction; myocardial infarction (up to three months); unstable angina; osteoarticular abnormalities that make it impossible for them to execute the exercise protocols; peacemaker users and those who underwent heart transplantation

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Heart rate variability through time domain analysis parameters: SDNN, rMSSD and PNN50, and frequency domain analysis: AF, BF and BF / AF measured by Holter.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Maximum heart rate and maximal oxygen consumption measured by ergometric stress testing;walk distance in meters by the 6-minute walking test;lower limb muscles strength measured by Sit-to-Stand;the thickness of the quadriceps muscle measured by ultrasound;handgrip strength measured by dinamometer;quality of life measured by the Medical Outcomes Study Short-Form 36 (SF36)
