Inclusion Criteria
Patients suffering from a depressive episode in the context of a unipolar disorder (ICD-10: F32.x or F33.x); Ability to participate in the clinic's non-drug therapy program
Exclusion Criteria
Pronounced impairments in hearing and eyesight, which would prevent participation in cognitive training.

Name Time Method Cognitive performance: executive functioning (measured with the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test and the Trail-Making-Test B), visual-spatial and verbal working memory, visual-spatial and verbal memory (measured with the Wechsler Memory Scale IV), selective attention (measured with the Continuous Performance Test), processing speed (measured with the Trail Maiking Test A and the Alertness sub-test from the test battery for the assessment of attention) and social cognition / Theory of Mind (Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test) before and after treatment
