Additional criteria for the borderline sample:
- Current BPS diagnosis (=5 DSM-5 BPS criteria),
- Chronic physical and cardiovascular diseases
- BMI <17 or >30
Additional criteria for the borderline sample:
- Regular medication (other than on-demand medication, regular use of an SSRI/SNRI group antidepressant, acute pain medication >500 mg).
- current drug abuse and/or drug dependence in the last 6 months and
- bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or organic disorders (lifetime).
Additional criteria for the healthy sample:
- Any mental disorder (lifetime) and <3 BPS criteria (lifetime).
- Regular medication (except contraceptives, acute painkillers >500 mg).
