•Families with at least one child or adolescent between 3 and 17 years with overweight (body Mass Index \>90\. percentile) or obesity (body Mass Index \> 97\. percentile)
•\- In the public health insurance and part of the HzV contract” of the health insurance company AOK Baden\-Württemberg (pediatric module)
•\- adequate knowledge of the German language

•\- prior participation in a interdisciplinary obesity training for the duration of one year or more
•\- participation in a child rehabilitation or inpatient treatment for weight loss within the past year
•\- severe other systemic disease of the child/adolescent
•\- severe other psycho\-social stress or disease of the child/adolescent which is not associated with overweight/adiposity (e.g. treatment of a schizophrenic disorder (ICD F2\) with appetite\-enhancing medication such as neuroleptic drugs)
