Inclusion Criteria
- 1)age >15years in both sexes.
- 2)Characteristic abdominal pain.
- 3)Increased levels of Serum amylase and/or lipase 3 times the normal value.
- 4)Ultrasonography of the abdomen demonstrating changes showing acute pancreatitis.
Exclusion Criteria
- 1)Proven cases of chronic pancreatitis.
- 2)Age <15 years in both sexes.
- 3)Hereditary pancreatitis 4)Patient with co-morbidities like COPD, renal impairment, immunosuppressive state, CAD.
- 5)Pancreatic abscess.
- 6)Pancreatic pseudocyst.
