Adults between the age of 18-65 years, clinically diagnosed as tinea corporis and tinea cruris and confirmed by positive KOH mount microscopy
Anyone who has taken systemic or topical antifungals in the four weeks prior to initiation of study; or presents with solitary lesion, history of hypersensitivity to antifungals, on any systemic medications known to have interactions with itraconazole, or with superadded bacterial infections, pregnancy or lactating and on immunosuppressive drugs or with any immunosuppressive disease.
