Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. scheduled for elective bowel surgery.
- •2\. ASA 1 or 2\.
- •3\. duration of surgery \> 60 min.
- •4\.Procedures where total gut irrigation is done to prepare the bowel (e.g. Posterior Sagittal Anorectoplasty,abdomino perineal pull through Duhamol procedure, colostomy closure, Hartmanâ??s procedure etc.)
Exclusion Criteria
- •1Cardiopulmonary disease
- •2\.Renal insufficiency
- •3\.Hepatic failure
- •4\.Anticipated massive bleeding/severe hypotension
- •5\.Emergency procedure
- •6\.Hb \<8gm/dl
