1. patients with hemiplegia/hemiparesis for or more than a year, 2. hemiplegia/hemiparesis with Brunnstrom motor recovery stage of at least 4, 3. able to walk with or without a walking aid, 4. at least 7/10 on the Abbreviation Mental Test, 5. have a constant state or well-controlled of co-morbidities, 6. able to communicate and follow instructions
1. clinical evidence of brainstem signs, 2. severe cognitive and/or language deficits or inability to follow instructions, 3. significant behavioral problems
