- •1\. Patients with active IBD requiring conservative treatment;
- •2\. Patients with IBD in remission
- •3\. Patients with IBS
- •4\. Healthy volunteers (a smaller group)
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Concomitant colorectal disease other than IBD or IBS
- •2\. Extensive colorectal surgery in the past
