•Subjects who are carriers of MRSA and who have been offered nasal decolonisation as part of their proposed normal medical care
•Following verbal & written information about the trial, the subject has signed & dated informed consent before any study related activity was carried out.
•Subject legally competent and able to communicate effectively with the study personnel

•Any reason that will prevent the subject from participating in the nasal decolonisation programme as determined by their consultant or past medical history.

•Subjects known or suspected of not being able to comply with trial protocol (e.g. alcoholism, drug dependency, or psychological state).
•Pregnant or lactating females
•Contraindicated in SmPC
•Subjects requiring use of an antimicrobial concomitant treatment during the study (apart from that prescribed as part of the MRSA skin decolonisation programme)
