Inclusion Criteria

• History of lumbar spinal stenosis.
• Age > 60 years at the time of spinal stenosis surgery.
• Written informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

• Known amyloidosis
• Myelomatosis
• Monoclonal gammopathy of unknown origin, MGUS
• Morbus Waldenstrøm
