Inclusion Criteria

Patients willing to give written jnformed consent Patients of either gender between 18 to 60 years

Patients with reduced mouth opening between 36 to 40 mm

Patients having a history of chewing areca nut and its related products

The patients having clinical features of Mukhapaka such as ulceration Vrana pain Shoola burning sensation Daha Redness Raktavarnata excessive salivation Lalastrava will be taken

Exclusion Criteria

Patients with a history of malignancy

Patients presenting with oral lesions other than Oral submucous fibrosis OSMF

Extensive fibrosis with severe trismus with an interincisal distance IID less than 13 mm

Disease is most advanced with premalignant and malignant changes

Generalized fibromatosis

Chronic debilitating conditions such as uncontrolled DM uncontrolled HT HIV etc
