1. People who meet Rome IV criteria for diagnosis of IBS
2. People who have an IBS-SSS score of >175 (Moderate to Severe symptoms)
3.People who give an informed consent to participate in this study
1. Other GI diseases (inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, etc.)
2. Alarm symptoms (Unexplained weight loss, family history of bowel disease, Rectal bleeding/anaemia, fever, persistent daily diarrhoea, recurrent vomiting, nocturnal bowel motions, progressive/severe symptoms)
3. Patients already on restricted diet (e.g. LFD,gluten-free,lactose-free, and vegan diet)
4.Consumption of bowel preparation/antibiotics/probiotics in the previous 4 weeks
5. Change in IBS medication in previous 4 weeks
6. Addictions
7. Significant and psychiatric comorbidities
