•1.All the patients registered to the ART centre who were on ART regimen were included in the study. No age restrictions is taken into account and patients from all age group were included.
•2.Patients include :
•a) New cases- Patients who were diagnosed with HIV and were started on ART at the time of the study
•b) Old cases- Patients who were already taking ART before the start of the study
•c) Patients transferred from other ART centre and were already taking ART.
•3.Patients who were willing to participate and gave consent were included in the study.

•1.The patients who were on observation or Pre-ART management were excluded
•2.Patients who were not able to comprehend the interview questions were excluded
•3.Patients with preexisting psychiatric disorders were excluded
•4.Seriously ill patients who were in critical condition were excluded. The decision of seriousness of the patient was discussed with medical officer in charge of the A.R.T centre.
