Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •?Be between the ages of 18–65 years;
- •?Have anterolateral acromial area pain or pain with active shoulder elevation \[17] and symptoms lasting 1 to 6 months;
- •?Have one positive sign in each of the following 4 categories: presence of pain when resisting humeral external rotation or abduction, Jobe Test, Hawkins Test, Neer Test;
- •?VAS score \= 40 mm.
Exclusion Criteria
- •?Clinical signs of massive rotator cuff tears (a tear of greater than five centimetres in diameter) or the presence of two or more tendon tears \[18, 19];
- •?Glenohumeral osteoarthritis (OA) or other inflammatory arthritis;
- •?Frozen shoulder;
- •?Fracture or dislocation of the shoulder;
- •?History of neck or shoulder surgery;
- •?Severe osteoporosis;
- •?Neurological disorders, rheumatoid arthritis, tumour, Parkinsons disease or other neurological disorders
- •?Pregnancy.
