1. History of segmental low back pain of lumbar origin with or without radiation to the unilateral lower limb below the knee of more than 3 months duration.
2. History of predominant leg pain over back pain.
3.Radicular pain not responding to oral medications and physiotherapy.
4. Pain involving up to two segmental levels in lumbar area.
5. Average pain score of =5 on an 11-point NRS.
6.Computed tomography/Magnetic resonance imaging evidence of nerve root pain
1. Patient refusal to participate.
2. History of previous back surgery or steroid injections
3. Severe spinal stenosis.
4. Any condition known to be amenable to TNF-alpha inhibitors e.g Spondyloarthropathy and chron’s disease.
5. Systemic infections or Infection at the site of injection.
6. Contrast allergy Or local anaesthetic allergy
