入选标准
- •Age > 18 and younger than 75 years
- •Diagnosis of eosinophil asthma
- •Suitable for sputum induction
- •>1% sputum eosinophils
排除标准
- •Any infection (eg. HIV, Hepatitis, STDs)
- •Smoking at present or in the last 12 months and/or a past history of more than 10 pack years
- •Antibiotic treatment for a respiratory tract infection <4 weeks prior to the study
- •Proven allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis
- •Auto-immune diseases
- •exuberant alcohol consumption (for males > 36 glasses per week, for females >24 glasses per week)
- •History of cancer
