Inclusion Criteria
1. First ever stroke patient
2. Motor weakness of the h and and wrist muscles (Medical Research council grade of <5)
3. CT or MRI evidence of ischaemic stroke
Exclusion Criteria
1. Spasticity in the wrist and hand (modified Ashworth grade 2 or more).
2. Previous history of seizure or epilepsy
3. CT or MRI evidence of previous stroke
4. Evidence of other neurological disorde rs
5. CT or MRI of cerebral tumor
6. Patient participating in any other clinical trial
