Inclusion Criteria

  • •Postmenopausal women
  • •Bone density T Score \< \-1 and \> \-2\.5 at lumbar spine or total hip

Exclusion Criteria

  • •kidney, liver, thyroid or parathyroid dysfunction
  • •current cancer
  • •osteoporosis
  • •vitamin D deficiency
  • •medications known to influence bone metabolism
