We concluded that, in our setting, infertility history and dysmenorrhea severity were associated with a higher recurrent OMA risk. In contrast, postoperative pain relief was significantly associated with lower recurrence risk.

Inclusion Criteria

303 women, aged 20 to 50 years old, who underwent
conservative cystectomy by either laparoscopy or laparotomy as a treatment for OMA during January
2013 to December 2018 at Srinagarind Hospital, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. All included patients
had histopathological confirmation of OMA and had a minimum follow up of 2 years

Exclusion Criteria

patients who had gynecologic cancer, underwent oophorectomy or hysterectomy or incomplete data collection
