• Patients requiring bilateral posterior maxillary or mandibular complete crowns.
• Teeth selected for zirconia crown preparation should be restorable with a minimum crown to root ratio of atleast 1:1.
• Teeth with healthy opposing natural teeth.
• Patients with good oral hygiene and periodontal status.
• Patients with full complement of teeth (excluding 3rd molars).
• Patients who will be available for the required follow up period.
• Patients giving positive informed consent.
• Patients with developmental defects of enamel and dentin.
• Patients with generalized occlusal wear.
• Parafunctional habits like bruxism, clenching.
• Temporomandibular disorders.
• Patients with fluorosis, calcium metabolic disorders, osteoporosis.
• Opposing teeth with caries or attrition.
• Patients having posterior crossbite.
