Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients fulfilling diagnostic criteria,
a.Sandhi Shoola- Pain in knee joints.
b.Sandhi Shotha- Swelling in knee joints
c.Sandhi Atopa (crepitus)
d.Prasarana Akunchanayo Vedana-Pain during flexion and extension of knee
2.patients between 20 to 70 years will be considered,
3.patients who are fit for upanaha sweda
Exclusion Criteria
Patients having
1.rheumatoid arthritis,
2.psoriatic arthritis,
3.gouty arthritis,
4.acute traumatic injury to knees,
5 patients contraindicated for superficial heat therapy, patients with any kind of metal implants
