简要总结
This quasi-experimental investigation intends to explore the effects of Mulligan Mobilization and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), on individuals with knee osteoarthritis. A total of 46 participants will be recruited aged 40 to 65 and will be split into two intervention groups. Main outcomes include pain severity and functional disability measured using the Numerical Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) and Lequesne Algofunctional Index Rating Scale. The secondary outcome, mobility, will be measured using the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test. All outcome measures will be completed at baseline and each post-intervention measure after 4 weeks. The purpose of this study is to compare the two commonly used physiotherapy techniques in regards to their effectiveness to reduce pain, functional disability and improve mobility in people with knee osteoarthritis.
