Inclusion Criteria

ASA grade I & II.

Undergoing elective urogenital surgeries under subarachnoid block

Exclusion Criteria

Patients not willing to participate in the study.

ASA grade III and IV

Cases with sepsis, bacteremia or skin infection of local site.

History of severe hypovolemia, anemia and compromised renal, cardiac or respiratory status.

Cases with raised intracranial tension.

History of drug or alcohol abuse.

History of taking gabapentin or pregabalin.

History of taking opioid or sedative medications or with a history of psychiatric conditions.

History of blood coagulopathies.

Patient allergic to drugs used for study.

Uncooperative patients.

Failure of spinal anesthesia, cases in which general anesthesia will be required.
