入排标准
入选标准
- •1)ASA grade 1 and 2 patients.
- •2)Able to understand verbal instructions and provide informed consent.
- •3)Undergoing elective upper abdominal surgery , involving an abdominal incision longer than 5 cm that is above or extending above the umbilicus.
排除标准
- •1) Patient refusal to participate in the study
- •2) Patients undergoing emergency laparotomy
- •3) Patients with tracheostomy, pleural effusion, pneumothorax, pulmonary atelectasis, k/c/o COPD/Restrictive lung disease
- •4) Intra operative massive blood loss( >40 ml/kg)/ massive transfusion( >8 PRBC during Surgery)
- •5) Known deformity of chest wall or thoracic spine .
- •6) Patients with history of previous thoracic surgery
- •7) BMI >30 kilograms per meter square.
- •8)Obstructive Sleep apnea
