•(1) Adult patients (age >= 18 years),
•(2) Undergoing non-cardiac surgery,
•(3) Admitted to the surgical intensive care unit (SICU), and high dependency units (HDU).
•(4) At a high risk of postoperative AKI.
•High-risk patients referred to as patients having at least one of the following conditions:
•(a)Preoperative comorbidities, including
•i.Hypertension (HTN),
•ii.Diabetes mellitus (DM),
•iii.Coronary heart disease,
•iv.Congestive heart failure (CHF),
•v.Cerebrovascular disease,
•vi.Chronic kidney disease not required dialysis,
•vii.Lung disease, or liver disease;
•(b) Major surgery, defined as surgery duration >=2h;
•(c) Ongoing organ dysfunction, defined as the sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA) score >= 2 from one single organ system.

•Patients with any of the following criteria will be excluded:
•(1) Chronic kidney disease stage 5 or requiring long-term dialysis;
•(2) Surgery involving kidney, such as nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy, nephroureterectomy, or kidney transplantation;
•(3) AKI events before surgery
•(4) Patient Refusal; and
•(5) Cardiac Surgery patients
