Children between the ages of 0-17 years; diagnosis of a congenital heart diseases; appointment for regular ambulant treatment in a participating clinical institution; informed consent of the legal guardian concerning the participation of the study; informed assent of the children/adolescents (as far as possible regarding the developmental status); sufficient German, English, or Turkish language skills of the patient (8 years or above) and/or the adult companion in order to comprehend the content of the questionnaires and the interview.
Emergency treatments (urgent, superior medical acute interventions which (initially) prevent the realization of the screening interview); patients with a known intellectual disability and/or a syndromal development disorder (e.g. trisomy 21); privately insured patients
