Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • American society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) â?  and â?¡ of either sex
  • Patients undergoing lumbar spine surgeries under general anaesthesia.
  • Aged between 18 to 65 years
  • Valid informed/explained consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patient with high risk coronary or vascular disease
  • Patient with hepatic dysfunction
  • Patient with history of psychosis
  • Patient with elevated intracranial pressure or traumatic brain injury
  • Patient with uncontrolled hypertension
