Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients requiring extraction of upper first premolars for orthodontic treatment.
- •Patients without any systemic diseases or medications that affect tooth movement.
- •Patients with healthy periodontium and good oral hygiene.
- •Patients giving informed consent and volunteering to participate in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients with history of long\-term medication such as non\-steroidal anti\-inflammatory drugs and hormone supplements, known to interfere with bone metabolism.
- •Patients with unilateral chewing or para functional habits, skeletal cross bite, or occlusal interferences.
- •Periodontally compromised patients with poor bone quality affecting orthodontic tooth movement.
- •Patients with impacted canines.
- •Patients with any craniofacial anomalies or temporomandibular disorders.
