1) Participants with VAS pain scores of 4 or greater
2) Participants who did not receive neurological treatment for herpes zoster
3) Participants who is conscious and able to communicate and have orientation
4) Participants with no olfactory dysfunction and no allergic reaction to the aroma
5) Participants who are not taking medications due to psychiatric illness
6) Participants who are not receiving hormone and aromatherapy

2) Participants who received neurological treatment for herpes zoster
3) Participants who is unconscious or not able to communicate or do not have orientation
4) Participants with olfactory dysfunction or allergic reaction to the aroma
5) Participants who are taking medications due to psychiatric illness
6) Participants who are receiving hormone and aromatherapy
