Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • American Society of Anesthesiologist physical status 1\-2, undergoing trans sphenoidal surgery for pituitary tumours at Post Graduate Institue for Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, will be enrolled in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Any severe airway disease/major cardiovascular risk factors/uncontrolled hypertension.
  • Severe hepatic or renal disease.
  • Any preoperative neurological deficit/GCS \<15/unconscious patient.
  • Psychological disease and medications.
  • History of alcohol or drug abuse.
  • History of taking drugs which effect psychomotor performance
  • Patients with untoward intra operative events in whom post\-operative mechanical ventilation may be required.
  • Patientâ??s refusal.
