Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •American Society of Anesthesiologist physical status 1\-2, undergoing trans sphenoidal surgery for pituitary tumours at Post Graduate Institue for Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, will be enrolled in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Any severe airway disease/major cardiovascular risk factors/uncontrolled hypertension.
- •Severe hepatic or renal disease.
- •Any preoperative neurological deficit/GCS \<15/unconscious patient.
- •Psychological disease and medications.
- •History of alcohol or drug abuse.
- •History of taking drugs which effect psychomotor performance
- •Patients with untoward intra operative events in whom post\-operative mechanical ventilation may be required.
- •Patientâ??s refusal.
