入选标准
- •Participants aged more than 18 years with healthy physical status or well-controlled systematic diseases, according to class I or II from ASA classification will be enrolled. In addition, they should not be contra-indicated with medication used in this study (ibuprofen), i.e., drug allergy or related systemic conditions. All included participants will have a previously treated endodontic single-root tooth with the need of retreatment and all those teeth must be restorable. Moreover, old root canal filling materials must be located at 1 to 3 mm from the radiographic apex in the periapical radiograph.
排除标准
- •Any tooth presenting an open apex, root resorption or root perforation would be excluded. In addition, participants presenting pre-operative pain and/or swelling at the appointment visit, taking analgesics or antibiotics less than one week before appointment visit or experiencing problems in completing the pain questionnaires would be excluded. Moreover, a tooth which does not contain gutta-percha or cannot be patent through the apex at the appointment visit will be excluded, too.
