All patients fulfilling the inclusion criteria data will be collected -Complete blood count ,SOFA 2 ,APACHE 2,,Blood culture and sensitivity at confirmation of diagnosis and sepsis period and patients outcome will be followed till death or discharge.

- •ICU patients with abdominal sepsis fulfilling sepsis III criteria for sepsis and septic shock.
- •Critcally ill patients with abdominal trauma injury severity score more than 25.
排除标准
- •Patients not giving consent.
- •Malignancy of any origin.
- •Immunodeficiency disorder.
- •Puerperal sepsis.
