a)18-65 years of either gender
b)Patients with ASA physical Status (I - II) undergoing surgery in general anaesthesia
c)Arterial cannulation indication for frequent blood gas measurements and/or invasive blood pressure monitoring
a)Refusal to consent
b)Absent pulsation at anatomic site of arterial cannulation
c)Insufficient collateral flow (Result of Allen test)
d)Raynaudââ?¬•s syndrome or Buergerââ?¬•s disease
e)Coagulopathies
f)Hypertension
g)Infection at site of arterial cannulation
h)Second degree or third degree burn at site of arterial cannulation
i)Artificial vascular graft at site of arterial cannulation
j)Arterial Cannulation site within proposed surgical field
