All toothbrushes had post-brushing PI scores 1.58-1.98 at buccal surfaces. CUdent/ Extra soft and Soft showed significantly better PI score at buccal surfaces than GoodAge. CUdent/ Soft revealed the lowest PI score in every comparison for other areas, but not significant.

Aged 60 or older, No systemic disease or controlled systemic disease, Have bleeding on probing at least 10%, Probing depth not more than 5 mm, Have at least 16 scorable teeth with at least four molars, Have baseline mean full mouth plaque score(Turesky,1970) at least 2.0
Uncontrolled systemic condition, Disease related to motor function, Smoking, Large or deep dental caries or caries exposed pulp, Teeth with cervical abrasion more than 30% of scorable teeth
