All toothbrushes had post-brushing PI scores 1.58-1.98 at buccal surfaces. CUdent/ Extra soft and Soft showed significantly better PI score at buccal surfaces than GoodAge. CUdent/ Soft revealed the lowest PI score in every comparison for other areas, but not significant.

- •Aged 60 or older, No systemic disease or controlled systemic disease, Have bleeding on probing at least 10%, Probing depth not more than 5 mm, Have at least 16 scorable teeth with at least four molars, Have baseline mean full mouth plaque score(Turesky,1970) at least 2.0
排除标准
- •Uncontrolled systemic condition, Disease related to motor function, Smoking, Large or deep dental caries or caries exposed pulp, Teeth with cervical abrasion more than 30% of scorable teeth
