- •Patients who provided informed consent for participation in the study
- •Patients aged between 18-65 years of either gender, belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II scheduled for neurosurgery.
排除标准
- •Patient refusal
- •already on steroids (systemic or inhaled) and hoarseness of voice
- •Cardiorespiratory compromise
- •Emergency surgeries
- •Anticipated difficult airway
- •Active respiratory tract infections
- •Sustained trauma after intubation.
