Inclusion Criteria

Nulliparous women, singleton pregnancy, >37 weeks gestation (term pregnancy), longitudinal lie, vertex presentation, no high risk factors, ready to give written and informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

Multiparous women, pregnancy induced hypertension, abruption placentae, marginal placenta previa, malpresentation, intrauterine fetal death, congenital anomalies, induced patient, history of asthma , epilepsy, heart disease. Premature rupture of membranes > 24hrs
