- •(1) adult patients who are 20 years old or older
- •(2) patients who are suspected of having lung cancer and decided to undergo elective surgical resection
- •(3) patients who have a preoperative multidetector chest computed tomography (CT) scan
- •(4) smartphone users
- •(5) thoracic surgeons who are registered as co-researchers and acquaintances who received a 3D virtual explanation module from patients in the intervention arm

- •Patients who are hard to communicate or cannot read.
