Pediatric surgery patients between the ages of 6 - 12 with elective procedures under general anesthesia
- Inclusion only if a written declaration of consent from the child and a legal guardian is available
- Patients under 6 and over 12 years of age
- Pediatric surgical patients requiring emergency care
- Patients with limited communication skills
- Patients who meet the inclusion criteria but do not have their own declaration of consent and/or a declaration of consent from their legal guardian (refusal/non-existence)
- Inability of the child and/or legal guardian to understand the German-language VR recording, the informed consent interview and the questionnaires
