入选标准
- •Patients with TMD as diagnosed with RDC/TMD diagnostic criteria and not responding to one month routine medical management
排除标准
- •1. Traumatic conditions , ankylosis ,neoplastic changes, developmental defects, degenerative joint diseases affecting the TMJ. 2.Patients with clicking of TMJ, but without pain or restricted mandibular movements 3. Patients with undiagnosed dental pain or who have skin lesions or facial abrasion at the site of acoustic gel placement.
- •4. Patients with cardiac pacemakers and cardiac arrhythmias and other uncontrolled systemic diseases.
- •5. Vascular disorders and neurological pain.
- •6. Patients with any history of seizures.
- •7. Pregnant and lactating mothers
- •8. Children less than 12 years
- •9.mentally disabled patients
