Inclusion Criteria

Patients diagnosed with migraine or tension headache and willing to give informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

Patients with Organic cause of headache, patients practising yoga based therapy in last six months, pregnancy or with contraindications to practice Yogic mudra and Mantra chanting, severely ill patients who are unable to practice yogic mudras

Primary Outcome Measures

Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) for pain severity, frequency of headaches, Headache Impact Test-6 (HIT-6), Migraine Disability Assessment(MIDAS)Timepoint: Immediate effect will be assessed on headache severity during the headache episode is compared to breath awareness for 10-15 minutes. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Effect of sustained practice of nadishuddhi pranayama for 5 minutes assessed on headache severity, frequency and disability compared to breath awareness for 10-15 minutes.

Gas Discharge Visualisation (GDI), Vedic Personality Inventory (VPI), Yoga Performance Assessment(YPA)Timepoint: GDV: Immediate effect on GDV will be assessed as compared to breath awareness for 10minutes. <br/ ><br>Sustained effect of 2 weeks (10-14 sessions) of nadishuddhi pranayama for 5 minutes will be assessed on GDV as compared to Breath awareness for 15 minutes. <br/ ><br>VPI: Vedic personality will be assessed only at baseline to understand yogic personality traits. <br/ ><br>YPA: Yoga performance assessment will be done after after first session of nadishuddhi pranayama for 5 minutes and after 10th sessions. <br/ ><br>
