Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patients with pain associated with Temporomandibular joint
  • 2\. Patients clinically and/or radiographically diagnosed as Temporomandibular joint disorder
  • 3\. Patients with or without TMJ associated muscle(s) pain
  • 4\. Ability to understand the Chronic Pain Grading Scale (CPGS) criteria
  • 5\. Ability to respond to Chronic Pain Grading Scale (CPGS) questions
  • 5\. Patients of all age group and gender included

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patients with cardiac pacemakers, epilepsy, dermatological diseases in face and pregnancy
  • 2\. Patients with chief complaint other than TMD pain
  • 3\. Patients with RTA, fracture and pain arising from it
  • 4\. Patients with pathology like cysts, tumour involving TMJ
  • 5\. Inability to understand and respond to the Chronic Pain Grading Scale (CPGS) criteria
  • 6\. TMD patients requiring surgical management
